FESTIVAL VIBES

Hello beauties,

Here comes that time of the year when Miami gets overcrowded with young adults and spring breakers for our annual Miami Music Festival Week. The town will transform into a party scene full of pool parties followed by night DJ performances at the best clubs. And if that’s not enough, you can always go to one of the 24/7 after party places which I will mention below 😉 Being a new local, I have decided to create a Music Festival Events Guide for all the visitors that are coming our way this spring break.

First we will start with where to stay. If you want to be in the middle of the party scene you should stay in South Beach. There are tons of big and small hotels that tend to a visitor of any type. If its a bunch of you and you’d like to save money by staying together, I would suggest looking for apartments on www.airbnb.com. There is always an option to rent a room (or a couch!) on that same website or you could also try www.craigslist.com.

Now, where to go and what to attend? During the day there are tons of pool parties at different hotels throughout South Beach. To name the best one’s (in my opinion) Delano Hotel, SLS Hotel, Nikki Beach, Mondrian Hotel (usually on sundays). For the ladies, make sure you stand out from the crowd by wearing bright sexy bikinis and attractive coverups if you want to get free drinks or cabana invites (oh yeah). So you finished the pool party, now its time to go home and take a quick nap, eat and change and its time to really party! The best clubs in Miami which will have the famous DJs playing are STORY, LIV, ROCKWELL (more of a hip hop vibe) and MOKAI. For most of those events you will need to purchase tickets in advance or give a fat bribe to one of the bouncers. At the end of my post you will find the link to where you can purchase tickets to all of the events.

So, you partied it up until 5 am and don’t feel sleepy yet? Ok, then its time to move on to the after hours! The most popular one’s are SPACE and E11EVEN (this one resembles a gentlemen’s club so if you are not into that scene then go to SPACE which is just across the street).

Many of you are coming just for the ULTRA FESTIVAL which this year is on March 24-26. That is always held in Downtown Miami which is a short cab ride away across the bridge from South Beach. For this event, attire is pretty much bikinis with some body paint and glow sticks.
