I would like to share with you some of my secrets and tips for loosing weight fast and staying in shape. And Im not going to tell you hear what foods to eat and what foods to avoid, you have probably read enough of that already. I will however tell you that 90% of your weight loss is what you eat/ drink and only 10% is the exercise. Once you lost most of the desired weight then you should start with the weight training or any exercise of your choice to get toned and keep up the shape. I too, was once 30 pounds heavier! Luckily, it was just a pregnancy weight but when my boo arrived to this World she left me with the nasty 20 pounds that I had to defeat. And I did! To be specific, I lost those 20 pounds in the first 3 months! I also did it in my own way without harsh dieting, so if you want to find out how then keep on reading 😉
Since I had a C section I was not able to exercise for the first couple of months and since I was breastfeeding I was not allowed to diet ( that way you don’t loose your breast milk). So the first 2 months all I could do is walk my stroller 2 hours every day ( great cardio!), eat healthier (avoiding junk food obviously) and add a couple of things to my everyday routine:
Im a huge believer in protein, it helps to speed up your metabolism, helps you gain muscle and helps you feel full longer thus letting you eat less and loose weight. After the first 2 months I was finally allowed to work out again but with a small baby who’s got the time, right? Yes and No…. I started working out with my baby girl to keep her entertained and give me a chance to exercise. If you have little one then you know that they are quite heavy to lift, so they substitute weights. I started doing routines with Sophie on the beach, in the park and even at home. You would be surprised how many things you can do together for abs, legs and arms and have fun at the same time.
